Charlotte Marion Alexander was born on 7 March 1870.1 She was the daughter of Rear-Adm. Henry McClintock Alexander and Eliza Frances Charlotte Wiseman.1 She married Henry McClintosh Sinclair on 25 October 1895, without issue.1 She died on 1 September 1900 at age 30.1

Agnes Hannay was the daughter of Captain James Hannay.1 She married, firstly, Colonel Jackson J. Wray, son of George Wray and Leonora Wray, in 1854.2 She married, secondly, Rear-Adm. Henry McClintock Alexander, son of Reverend Robert Alexander and Dorothea McClintock, on 16 January 1877.1
