Samuel Adams and Frances Harvey.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Frances Going, daughter of Ambrose Going and Margaret Pennefather, on 30 April 1846.2 He married, secondly, Sarah Mary Ormsby, daughter of Lt.-Col. Owen Lloyd Ormsby, on 24 September 1869.2 He died on 8 May 1871 at age 53.2
