     Elizabeth Clarke was the daughter of John Clarke.1 She married Reverend Benjamin Adams, son of Allen Adams and Martha Higginbotham, on 14 April 1777.1
     From 14 April 1777, her married name became Adams.1

     John Adams was born on 16 May 1785.1 He was the son of Reverend Benjamin Adams and Elizabeth Clarke.1 He married Joyce Adams, daughter of Richard Adams and Amelia Cosby, on 2 November 1806.1 He died in February 1827 at age 41, without issue.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Cavan in 1811.1 In 1814 at Drogheda, IrelandG, he was a Freeman of Drogheda.1,2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Caounty Cavan.1 He lived at Shinan, Shercock, County Cavan, IrelandG.1

     Very Rev. Samuel Adams was born on 15 February 1788.1 He was the son of Reverend Benjamin Adams and Elizabeth Clarke.1 He married Frances Harvey, daughter of John Harvey, on 4 January 1809.1 He died on 7 December 1856 at age 68.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 In 1819 at Drogheda, IrelandG, he was a Freeman of Drogheda.1,2 He lived at Northlands, County Cavan, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Dean of Cashel.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cavan.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Monaghan.1 He was a Prebendary of Tirebrine.1

     Captain Charles James Adams was born on 29 April 1792.1 He was the son of Reverend Benjamin Adams and Elizabeth Clarke.1 He married Anne Jane Foster, daughter of Captain William Foster, on 29 September 1821.1 He died on 23 August 1854 at age 62, having had issue.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff in 1833.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Shinan House, County Cavan, IrelandG.1

Anne Jane Foster1

     Anne Jane Foster was born circa 1797 (aged 36 at her death).1 She was the daughter of Captain William Foster.1 She married Captain Charles James Adams, son of Reverend Benjamin Adams and Elizabeth Clarke, on 29 September 1821.1 She died on 4 March 1834.1
     From 29 September 1821, her married name became Adams.1
