John Adams was born on 16 May 1785.1 He was the son of Reverend Benjamin Adams and Elizabeth Clarke.1 He married Joyce Adams, daughter of Richard Adams and Amelia Cosby, on 2 November 1806.1 He died in February 1827 at age 41, without issue.1
