     From 12 March 1963, her married name became Guinness.³ After her marriage, Miranda Daphne Jane Smiley was styled as Countess of Iveagh on 14 September 1967.

     Major Charles Michael Smiley was born on 25 June 1910.¹ He was the son of Hubert Stewart Smiley and Elsie Hope Gill.² He married Lavinia Pearson, daughter of Major Hon. Bernard Clive Pearson and Hon. Alicia Mary Dorothea Knatchbull-Hugessen, on 15 September 1939.¹ He died in 1991.¹

     Lady Marjorie Gwendoline Elsie Cochrane is the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Douglas Mackinnon Baillie Hamilton Cochrane, 12th Earl of Dundonald and Winifred Bamford-Hesketh.² She married Owsley Vincent Fydell Rowley, son of George Fydell Rowley and Alice Nina Corbet, on 1 June 1917.¹ She and Owsley Vincent Fydell Rowley were divorced in 1932.¹
