Brian Philip Coote was born on 11 January 1919.1 He was the son of Commander Bernard Trotter Coote and Grace Harriet Robinson.2 He married Elizabeth Helen Rutt, daughter of William James Rutt, on 28 May 1949.1 He died on 5 November 1997 at age 78.1
Brian Philip Coote was educated at Woking Grammar School, Woking, Surrey, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Reconnaissance Corps.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was educated at St. Columba's College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1 He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the service of the Royal Air Force Regiment.1 He was the Principal between 1972 and 1979 at Queen Elizabeth's Training College, Leatherhead, Surrey, England.1 He was Deputy Director of Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for the Disabled between 1979 and 1984.1
