     Commander Bernard Trotter Coote was born on 9 April 1880.1 He was the son of Sir Algernon Charles Plumptre Coote, 12th Bt. and Jean Trotter.2 He married Grace Harriet Robinson, daughter of Very Rev. John Joseph Robinson, on 3 April 1907.1 He died on 3 September 1955 at age 75.1
     Commander Bernard Trotter Coote gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1
