     Hon. Nicola Louise Cope is the daughter of Rt. Hon. John Ambrose Cope, Baron Cope of Berkeley and Djemila Lovell Payne.¹

     George Cope married Catherine Spencer.¹
     He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Institute of British Architects (F.R.I.B.A.).¹ He lived at Leicester, Leicestershire, England.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).¹

     Catherine Elizabeth Coote was born in 1829.¹ She was the daughter of Eyre Coote and Elizabeth Rosetta Massy-Dawson.² She married Admiral Sir William Houston Shaw-Stewart, son of Admiral Sir Houston Shaw-Stewart and Martha Miller, on 20 February 1850.³ She died on 23 November 1867.¹
      From 20 February 1850, her married name became Shaw-Stewart.¹

     Sir Houston Mark Shaw-Stewart of Greenhall and Blackhall, 11th Bt. was born on 24 April 1931.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir Walter Guy Shaw-Stewart, 9th Bt. and Diana Bellenden Bulteel.² He married Lucinda Victoria Fletcher, daughter of Alexander K. H. Fletcher, in 1982.¹ He died after 2003.
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Ulster Rifles.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1950.¹ He fought in the Korean War between 1950 and 1951.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Ayrshire Yeomanry.¹ He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Renfrewshire between 1970 and 1974.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Strathclyde Region between 1974 and 1980.¹ He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Strathclyde Region between 1980 and 1995.¹ He succeeded to the title of 11th Baronet Stewart, of Greenock and Blackhall, co. Renfrew [N.S., 1667] on 30 January 1980.¹

     Val Hudson married Robin Corbett, Baron Corbett of Castle Vale, son of Thomas Corbett and Marguerite Adele Mainwaring, in 1970.¹
      From 1970, her married name became Corbett.¹ As a result of her marriage, Val Hudson was styled as Baroness Corbett of Castle Vale on 5 July 2001.

     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Artillery.¹
