     Reverend Robert Rede was born on 10 April 1794.1 He was the son of Reverend Samuel Lovick Cooper and Sarah Leman Rede.2 He married Louisa Henshaw, daughter of B. Henshaw, on 17 November 1821.1 He died on 13 April 1852 at age 58.1
      On 17 September 1822 his name was legally changed to Robert Rede by Royal Licence.1 He lived at Ashmans, Suffolk, England.1
