     Maud de Courtenay, Comtesse de Nevers is the daughter of Pierre II Seigneur de Courtenay Emperor of Constantinople and Agnes de Nevers.1 She married Hervé IV de Donzy, Comte de Nevers, son of Hervé III de Donzy, Baron de Donzy and Mathilde Gouët, Dame de Montmirail, d'Allueys, de Brou, d'Authou et e Bazoches-du-Perche, in 1200.2 She married, secondly, Guy de Forez in 1226.2
     She gained the title of Comtesse de Nevers.1
