     Josselin de Courtenay, Seigneur de Courtenay is the son of Athon de Courtenay, Seigneur de Courtenay.1 He married, firstly, Hildegarde de Gâtinais, daughter of Geoffroi V Ferreol, comte de Gâtinais seigneur de Château-Landon and Ermengarde d'Anjou, circa 1060.1 He married Elizabeth de Montlhéry, daughter of Guy de Montlhéry, in 1065.1
     He gained the title of Seigneur de Courtenay.1 He was living in 1060.1

     Geoffroi V Ferreol, comte de Gâtinais seigneur de Château-Landon was born in 990.2 He was the son of Geoffroi IV, comte de Gâtinais and Béatrice de Mâcon.2 He married Ermengarde d'Anjou, daughter of Fulco III d'Anjou, 5th Comte d'Anjou and Hildegarde (?), circa 1035. He died on 30 April 1045.2
