     Lt.-Col. Sir Alan John Colquhoun of Luss, 6th Bt. was born on 19 September 1838.¹ He is the son of John Colquhoun and Frances Sarah Maitland.² He married, firstly, Justine Henrietta Kennedy, daughter of John Kennedy of Underwood, on 17 April 1884.¹ He married, secondly, Anna Helena MacRae, daughter of Duncan MacRae of Conchra, on 3 July 1906.¹ He died on 14 March 1910 at age 71.¹
     Lt.-Col. Sir Alan John Colquhoun of Luss, 6th Bt. gained the rank of officer in the service of the 42nd Royal Highlanders (Black Watch) and 16th Lancers.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the service of the Duke of Edinburgh's Own RF Reserve Artillery.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel and Honorary Colonel of the 3rd Brigade Scottish Division, Royal Artliiery.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dumbartonshire.¹ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).¹ He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dunbartonshire.¹ He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Colquhoun, of Luss [G.B., 1786] on 13 March 1907.¹

     Roderick William Colquhoun was born on 29 August 1847.¹ He was the son of John Colquhoun and Frances Sarah Maitland.² He married Alice Maitland, daughter of William Fuller Maitland, on 28 June 1882.¹ He died on 15 November 1918 at age 71, without issue.¹

     Helen Augusta Colquhoun is the daughter of John Colquhoun and Frances Sarah Maitland.² She married Very Rev. Norman Macleod on 8 September 1863.¹
     From 8 September 1863, her married name became Macleod.

     Very Rev. Norman Macleod married Helen Augusta Colquhoun, daughter of John Colquhoun and Frances Sarah Maitland, on 8 September 1863.¹ He died on 11 December 1911.¹
     Very Rev. Norman Macleod was Prinicpal Clerk of the General Assembly Church of Scotland.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).¹

     Flora Maitland Colquhoun was the daughter of John Colquhoun and Frances Sarah Maitland.² She married Sir Colin George Macrae of Glenflora on 22 June 1877.¹ She died on 24 November 1921.¹
     From 22 June 1877, her married name became Macrae.¹

     Sir Colin George Macrae of Glenflora married Flora Maitland Colquhoun, daughter of John Colquhoun and Frances Sarah Maitland, on 22 June 1877.¹ He died on 9 December 1925.¹
