General Hon. William Henry Adelbert Feilding was born on 6 January 1836.1 He was the son of William Basil Percy Feilding, 7th Earl of Denbigh and Lady Mary Elizabeth Kitty Moreton.1 He married Charlotte Leighton, daughter of Sir Baldwin Leighton, 7th Bt. and Mary Parker, on 7 April 1893.1 He died on 24 March 1895 at age 59, without issue.1 He was buried at Protestant Cemetery, Bangkok, Thailand.2
He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1 He was decorated with the award of the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.1 He was Inspector-General of the Recruiting HQ between 1891 and 1894.1
