Henry O'Brien, 7th Earl of Thomond was born on 14 August 1688.1 He was the son of Henry Horatio O'Brien, Lord O'Brien and Lady Henrietta Somerset.1 He married Lady Elizabeth Seymour, daughter of Charles Seymour, 6th Duke of Somerset and Lady Elizabeth Percy, on 4 June 1707.2 He died on 20 April 1741 at age 52 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, without issue.1 He was buried at Limerick Cathedral, County Limerick, Ireland.
He succeeded to the title of 7th Earl of Thomond [I., 1552] on 2 May 1691.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baron of Ibracken [I., 1543] on 2 May 1691.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Arundel between 1710 and 1714.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1714.1 He was created 1st Viscount Tadcaster, of Tadcaster, co. York [Great Britain] on 19 October 1714.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Essex from 1721/22 to 1741.1 On his death the Viscountcy of Tadcaster expired and the Earldom and Barony fell under the attainder of his cousin.1

Sir William Ayloffe, 1st Bt. was born in 1563.1 He was the son of William Ayloffe and Jane Sulyard.1 He married, firstly, Catherine Sterne, daughter of John Sterne.2 He married, secondly, Barbara Sexton, daughter of Thomas Sexton, before 1617.2 He and Alice Stokes obtained a marriage license on 4 December 1621 at Westminster, London, England.2 He died on 5 August 1627.1 He was buried at Braxted Magna, Essex, England.2
He held the office of Sheriff of Essex from 1594 to 1595.2 He lived at Braxted, Essex, England.3 He was invested as a Knight on 5 May 1603 at Charter House.2 He was created 1st Baronet Ayloffe, of Braxted Magna, co.
