     Lucy Patterson was the daughter of Reverend Henry Patterson.2 She married John Chevallier Cobbold, son of John Cobbold and Harriet Chevallier, on 14 May 1827.1 She died in 1879.1

     From 29 October 1780, her married name became Heitmann.1

     Henry Chevallier Cobbold was born on 1 September 1832.1 He was the son of John Chevallier Cobbold and Lucy Patterson.2 He married, firstly, Louisa Ann Pocock, daughter of Charles Montagu Pocock, on 24 May 1860.1 He married, secondly, Charlotte Key in 1865.1 He died in September 1902.1

     Thomas Clement Cobbold was born on 22 July 1833.1 He was the son of John Chevallier Cobbold and Lucy Patterson.2 He died on 21 November 1883 at age 50.1
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He was Chargé d'Affaires for Baden-Baden in 1867.1 He was Chargé d'Affaires for Rio de Janiero in 1870.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ipswich.1 He was Chargé d'Affaires for Lisbon between 1873 and 1875.1
