Philip Castel Sherard, 9th Baron Sherard was born on 7 March 1804.1 He was the son of Reverend Philip Castel Sherard and Sarah Haughton James.1 He married Anne Weekes, daughter of Nathaniel Weekes and Rebecca Ann (?), on 26 June 1834 at Sidmouth, Devon, England.1,2 He died on 16 February 1896 at age 91.1
He succeeded as the 9th Baron Sherard, of Leitrim [I., 1627] on 28 July 1859.1,3

Castel Sherard, 10th Baron Sherard was born on 17 August 1849.1 He was the son of Reverend Simon Haughton Sherard and Mary Haughton Clarke.1 He married Mary Gertrude Rodwell, daughter of Reverend Robert Mandeville Rodwell, on 6 October 1898.1 He died on 5 October 1902 at age 53, without issue.1
