     Hilda Constance Asser was the daughter of G. Asser.² She married John Shawcross, son of William Tuer Shawcross and Elizabeth Eckersley, on 20 September 1900.¹ She died on 22 April 1942.¹
     From 20 September 1900, her married name became Shawcross.

     Brenda Mary Beith married Hon. Marcus Joseph Sieff, Baron Sieff of Brimpton, son of Israel Moses Sieff, Baron Sieff and Rebecca Doro Marks, in 1956.¹ She and Hon. Marcus Joseph Sieff, Baron Sieff of Brimpton were divorced in 1962.¹

     Christopher Nyholm Shawcross was born on 20 June 1905.¹ He was the son of John Shawcross and Hilda Constance Asser.² He married, firstly, Doreen Adeline Teresa Burrows, daughter of R. A. Burrows, in 1931.¹ He and Doreen Adeline Teresa Burrows were divorced in 1949.¹ He married, secondly, Maridel Leonore Chance, daughter of Dr. Robert Maxwell Chance and Leonore Lessner, on 17 August 1949.¹ He died on 18 August 1973 at age 68.¹
     He was educated at Dulwich School, Dulwich, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1931 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in 1944 in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Labour) for Widnes between 1945 and 1950.¹ He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1949.¹ He held the office of Recorder of Nottingham between 1950 and 1961.¹ He held the office of Bencher of Gray's Inn in 1954.¹

     Doreen Adeline Teresa Burrows is the daughter of R. A. Burrows.² She married Christopher Nyholm Shawcross, son of John Shawcross and Hilda Constance Asser, in 1931.¹ She and Christopher Nyholm Shawcross were divorced in 1949.¹
     From 1931, her married name became Shawcross.

     Timothy John Robert Shawcross was born on 8 February 1953.¹ He was the son of Christopher Nyholm Shawcross and Maridel Leonore Chance.² He married Marion Hildegard Haslett, daughter of John H. Haslett and Gisela Hildegard Schein, circa 1982.³ He died on 27 August 2022 at age 69 at Balcombe, Sussex, England.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1972 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Christabel Anne Shawcross was born on 27 October 1951.¹ She is the daughter of Christopher Nyholm Shawcross and Maridel Leonore Chance.²

     Thomas Tennant Baxter is the son of Frank Baxter.¹ He married Cordelia Marguerite Stewart, daughter of Sir Percy Malcolm Stewart, 1st Bt. and Cordelia Rickett, on 11 September 1935.¹
