     Lt.-Cdr. Lionel Peter Twiss was born on 23 July 1921.2 He was the son of Colonel Dudley Cyril Twiss and Laura Georgina Chapman.2 He married, fifthly, Jane de Lucey.3 He married, secondly, Vera Maguire.3 He married Cherry Felicity Huggins, daughter of Sir John Huggins and Molly Green, before 1976.1 He married Heather Linda Goldingham, daughter of S/Ldr. Strachan Agnew Goldingham and Nellie FitzHerbert, on 4 November 1964.4 He died on 31 August 2011 at age 90.2
     Lt.-Cdr. Lionel Peter Twiss usually went by his middle name of Peter.4 He was a British test pilot who held the World Air Speed Record as the first man to fly at a speed greater than 1,000 mph.2 He wrote the book Faster Than the Sun, published 1963.3 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) on 4 November 1964 and bar.4 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)2 He was director of Fairey Marine between 1968 and 1978.3 He was director of Hamble Point Marina between 1978 and 1988.3 He lived in 2003 at Nettleworth, 33 South Street, Titchfield, Hampshire, EnglandG.4

     Eliza Frances Turner was born in 1824 at India.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Jacob Turner.1 She married, firstly, Hervey Harris Greathed, son of Edward Greathed and Mary Elizabeth Glyn, on 7 December 1844 at Agra, Bengal, India.1,2 She married, secondly, Charles Joachim Hambro, Baron Hambro, son of Joseph Hambro and Marianne von Halle, in 1861.1 She died in 1919 at Christchurch, Hampshire, England.1,2
     From 7 December 1844, her married name became Greathed.1 From 1861, her married name became Hambro.1
