     Malcolm Greenhill, 3rd Baron Greenhill was born on 5 May 1924.1 He was the son of Ernest Greenhill, 1st Baron Greenhill and Ida Goodman.2,3 He died on 13 January 2020 at age 95.4
     He was educated at Kelvinside Academy, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG.3 He was with the Telecommunications Res. Establishment in 1944 at Malvern, Worcestershire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG, in 1944 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)1 He was with the AERE between 1950 and 1961.3 He was with the UKAEA between 1954 and 1973.3 He was a chartered patent agent with the Ministry of Defence between 1974 and 1989.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Greenhill, of Townhead in the City of Glsagow [U.K., 1950] on 28 September 1989.3 He lived in 2003 at 28 Gorselands, Newbury, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 On his death his barony became extinct.4

Ernest Greenhill, 1st Baron Greenhill1

     Ernest Greenhill, 1st Baron Greenhill was born on 23 April 1887.1 He was the son of Maurice Greenhill.2 He married Ida Goodman, daughter of Mark Goodman, in 1914.1 He died on 18 February 1967 at age 79.3
     He was a member of the Glasgow Corporation in 1932.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Glasgow in 1940.1 He lived City Treasurer and Senior Magistrate.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1947.1 He was created 1st Baron Greenhill, of Townhead in the City of Glsagow [U.K.] on 8 July 1950.3 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG, in 1963.1

     Ida Goodman was the daughter of Mark Goodman.2 She married Ernest Greenhill, 1st Baron Greenhill, son of Maurice Greenhill, in 1914.1 She died in 1985.1
     From 1914, her married name became Greenhill. After her marriage, Ida Goodman was styled as Baroness Greenhill on 8 July 1950.

     Stanley Greenhill, 2nd Baron Greenhill was born on 17 July 1917.1 He was the son of Ernest Greenhill, 1st Baron Greenhill and Ida Goodman.2 He married Margaret Jean Newlands, daughter of Thomas Newlands, in 1946.1 He died on 28 September 1989 at age 72.1
