     Hugh Lionel Rawlings was born on 5 December 1944.1 He was the son of George Shirley Rawlings and Margaret Elspeth Lindsay.1 He died on 8 June 1963 at age 18 at Afghanistan, killed in a motor accident, along with his father.1

     Major Robert William Ludovic Lindsay was born on 18 August 1905.1 He is the son of Major Hon. Robert Hamilton Lindsay and Mary Janet Clarke.1 He married Rosemary Catherine Marion Knox, daughter of Sir Robert Wilson Knox, on 17 December 1946.1
     Major Robert William Ludovic Lindsay was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain between 1931 and 1934 in the service of the Trans-Jordan Expeditionary Force.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Grenadier Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He held the office of Member of the House of Representatives (M.H.R.) [Australia] between 1954 and 1966, for Flinders.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1971.1
