     General Sir Charles Bonham Carter was born on 25 February 1876.2 He was the son of Henry Bonham-Carter and Sibella Charlotte Norman.1 He married, firstly, Gladys Beryl Coddington, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Blaney Coddington, on 22 February 1902.3 He and Gladys Beryl Coddington were divorced in 1909.3 He married, secondly, Gabriele Madge Jeanette Fisher on 3 January 1911.1 He died on 21 October 1955 at age 79.1,2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He held the office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Malta.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.3 He was educated between 1889 and 1894 at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.3 He was Director-General of the territorial Army between 1933 and 1936.3 He was appointed Knight in 1935.3 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp General to HM King George VI between 1938 and 1941.3 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1941.1

     Victor Bonham Carter was born on 13 December 1913.1 He was the son of General Sir Charles Bonham Carter and Gabriele Madge Jeanette Fisher.1 He married, firstly, Audrey Edith Stogdon, daughter of Francis Rowe Stogdon, in 1938.1 He and Audrey Edith Stogdon were divorced in 1979.1 He married, secondly, Cynthia Claire Young in 1979.1 He died on 13 March 2007 at age 93.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He was director of School Prints Ltd in 1937.2 He wrote the book The English Village, published 1952.2 He wrote the book Farming the Land, published 1959.2 He wrote the book Exploring Parish Churches, published 1959.2

     From 1938, her married name became Bonham Carter.1 From after 1979, her married name became Glover Wilson.3
