     Alexander Baird was born on 12 May 1765.3 He was the son of William Baird.3 He married Jane Moffat, daughter of James Moffat and Janet Craig, on 2 August 1794 at Old MonklandG.3,4 He died on 23 December 1833 at age 68 at High Cross.3,4
     He lived at Lochwood, Old Monkhead, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG.3

     Jane Moffat was baptised on 24 January 1768 at New Monkland, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of James Moffat and Janet Craig.2 She married Alexander Baird, son of William Baird, on 2 August 1794 at Old MonklandG.1,2 She died on 8 July 1851 at age 83.1
     From 2 August 1794, her married name became Baird.1

     Godwin Swift is the son of Thomas Swift.2 He married, fourthly, Eleanor Meade, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Meade and Elizabeth Travers.1
     He was admitted to Gray's Inn entitled to practise as a barrister.3 He had fifteen sons and four daughtrers by his various wives.3 He was Attorney-General to the Duke of Ormonde.1
