     Henry John Conant was born in 1852.2 He was the son of Reverend John William Conant and Frances Catherine Groves.3 He married, firstly, Emily Murray, daughter of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Emily Gostling, on 28 November 1878.1 He married, secondly, Geraldine Effie Grimshawe, daughter of Charles Livius Grimshawe, in 1883.2 He died on 17 May 1914.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the West Kent Regiment.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He lived at Grafton Regis, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.2

     Margaret Frances Elizabeth Conant was the daughter of Reverend John William Conant and Frances Catherine Groves.1,2 She married Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray, son of Reverend Edward Murray and Ruperta Catherine Wright, on 10 December 1878.1 She died on 30 June 1910.1
     Her married name became Murray.

     Captain Fane Wright Stapleton Murray was born on 16 October 1879.1 He was the son of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Margaret Frances Elizabeth Conant.1 He died on 30 October 1914 at age 35, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 12th Lancers.1 He fought in the First World War.

     Lt.-Col. Cecil de Grey Murray was born on 4 December 1880.1 He was the son of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Margaret Frances Elizabeth Conant.1 He married, firstly, Theodora Lockhart Jervis, daughter of James T. Jervis, on 8 December 1910.1 He and Theodora Lockhart Jervis were divorced in 1945.1 He married, secondly, Ivy Noel Campbell Gostling, daughter of William Augustus Kennedy Gostling, on 24 May 1945.1 He died on 18 June 1956 at age 75, without issue.1
     He fought in the Boer War in 1900.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, Yorkshire and Lancashire Regiments.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 12th Cadet Battalion, Essex Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Captain Rupert Auriol Conant Murray was born on 29 September 1882.1 He was the son of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Margaret Frances Elizabeth Conant.1 He married Ivy Maud Dering, daughter of Sir Henry Edward Dering, 10th Bt. and Mary Astel Rosina Jameson, on 12 August 1913.1 He died on 11 March 1915 at age 32, from wounds received in action.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Seaforth Highlanders.1 He fought in the First World War.2
