Henry Calveley Cotton was born on 25 July 1755.3 He was the son of Sir Lynch Salusbury Cotton, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Cotton.1,2 He married Matilda Lockwood, daughter of John Lockwood and Matilda Conyers, on 14 April 1788.3 He died on 15 May 1837 at age 81.3
