     Robert Wilmot was born circa 1641 at Chadesden, Derbyshire, England.2 He was the son of Sir Nicholas Wilmot and Dorothy Harpur.3 He married Elizabeth Eardley, daughter of Edward Eardley.1 He died in 1722.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Derby in 1689.1
