     Sir William Compton, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir William Compton, 3rd Bt. and unknown Holder.1 He married unknown Bradnock.1 He died in January 1760, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Compton, of Hartbury, co. Gloucester [E., 1686] on 3 May 1758.1

     Anne Sarah Bennet Mosley was the daughter of William Moseley.2 She married Sir Walter Abington Compton, 5th Bt., son of Sir William Compton, 3rd Bt. and unknown Holder, on 20 September 1765 at Haddington, East Lothian, ScotlandG.1 She died in November 1776 at Hartbury, Gloucestershire, EnglandG, without issue.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in December 1776.1
     She lived at Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 She was also known as Sarah Mary Moseley.3 From 20 September 1765, her married name became Compton.1

     Sir Walter Abington Compton, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir William Compton, 3rd Bt. and unknown Holder.1 He married Anne Sarah Bennet Mosley, daughter of William Moseley, on 20 September 1765 at Haddington, East Lothian, ScotlandG.1 He died on 29 August 1773, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Compton, of Hartbury, co. Gloucester [E., 1686] in January 1760.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Sir Job Charlton, 1st Bt. was born circa 1615 at London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Robert Charlton and Emma Harby.1 He married, secondly, Lettice Waring, daughter of Walter Waring.2 He married, firstly, Dorothy Blunden, daughter of William Blunden, before 1650.2 He died on 27 May 1697.1
     He matriculated at Magdalen Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 20 April 1632.1 He graduated from Magdalen Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1632 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 19 November 1633.1 He was a practising Barrister on 18 November 1644.2 He held the office of Bencher of Lincoln's Inn in 1659.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ludlow between 1659 and 1679.2 He was a practising Serjeant at Law in 1660.2 He was appointed Knight in 1662.2 He held the office of Chief Justice of Chester between 1662 and 1680.2 He was a practising King's Serjeant-at-Law in 1668.2 He held the office of Speaker of the House of Commons between 4 February 1673 and 18 February 1673.2 He held the office of Justice of the Court of Common Pleas between 1680 and 20 April 1686.2 He held the office of Chief Justice of Chester between 1686 and 1697.2 He was created 1st Baronet Charlton, of Ludford, co.
