     Rachel Edmondson was the daughter of James Edmondson.1 She married Sir John Chapman, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Chapman, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Webb, in December 1736.1 She died before 1764.1 She died intestate and her estate was administered on 15 July 1764 at St. James', Westminster, London, EnglandG.1
     From December 1736, her married name became Chapman.1

     From after 1764, her married name became Chapman.1

     Sir William Chapman, 3rd Bt. was baptised on 1 October 1714 at St. Peter le Poor, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir William Chapman, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Webb.1 He married, firstly, Mary Newman on 8 December 1759.1 He married, secondly, Anne Lany, daughter of Reverend Benjamin Lany, on 1 August 1767.1 He died on 9 February 1785 at age 70 at London, EnglandG, without issue.1 He was buried on 19 February 1785 at Ufford, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in February 1785.1
     He held the office of Sheriff of Suffolk between 1767 and 1768.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Chapman, of London [G.B., 1720] on 29 January 1781.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Sir Benjamin Chapman, 1st Bt. was the son of Benjamin Chapman and Anne Tighe.1 He married Anne Lowther, daughter of John Lowther and Anne Billing, circa 20 February 1776.1 He died in July 1810, without issue.1
     He was a practising Barrister in 1768.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1772.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Fore [Ireland] between 1772 and 1776.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Westmeath [Ireland] between 1776 and 1783.1 He was created 1st Baronet Chapman, of St. Lucy's, co. Westmeath [Ireland] on 11 March 1782, with a special remainder to his brother, Sir Thomas Chapman.1
