Sir John Chapman, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1710.1 He was the son of Sir William Chapman, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Webb.1 He married, firstly, Rachel Edmondson, daughter of James Edmondson, in December 1736.1 He married, secondly, Sarah (?) after 1764.1 He died on 29 January 1781, without issue.1 His will was probated in February 1781.1
