Henry Morison Vere Nicoll and Joan Madden, on 24 July 1963.2 She and Graham Morison Vere Nicoll were divorced before 1975.2 She married, secondly, Anthony Charles Sackville Tufton, 6th Baron Hothfield of Hothfield, son of George William Anthony Tufton, 5th Baron Hothfield of Hothfield and Evelyn Margarette Mordaunt, in 1975.1
      From 24 July 1963, her married name became Vere Nicoll.1 From 1975, her married name became Tufton.1 As a result of her marriage, Lucinda Marjorie Gurney was styled as Baroness Hothfield of Hothfield in 1991.

     Anthony Charles Sackville Tufton, 6th Baron Hothfield of Hothfield was born on 21 October 1939.2 He is the son of George William Anthony Tufton, 5th Baron Hothfield of Hothfield and Evelyn Margarette Mordaunt.2,3 He married Lucinda Marjorie Gurney, daughter of Captain Timothy John Gurney and Bridget de Bathe, in 1975.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).2 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.).2 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Tufton, of Appleby Castle, co. Westmorland [U.K., 1851] in 1991.2 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baron Hothfield of Hothfield, co. Kent [U.K., 1881] in 1991.2 He lived in 2003 at Drybeck Hall, Appleby-in-Westmorland, Cumbria, England.2

     Sir Christopher Albert de Bathe, 6th Bt. was born on 17 September 1905.1 He was the son of Patrick Wynne de Bathe and Violet Lindsay Wood.1 He married Edna Winifred Terrell, daughter of Arthur Terrell, on 11 January 1932.1 He died on 3 June 1941 at age 35.2
     He gained the title of 6th Baronet de Bathe. He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the service of the Royal Air Force.2
