     Sir Charles Chad, 2nd Bt. was born on 24 April 1779.1 He was the son of Sir George Chad, 1st Bt. and Sarah Rowles.1 He married Lady Anne Turnour, daughter of Edward Turnour, 2nd Earl Winterton and Jane Chapman, on 14 June 1810.1 He died on 30 September 1855 at age 76 at 1 Gloucester Square, Hyde Park, London, England, without surviving issue.1 His will was probated in October 1855.1
     Sir Charles Chad, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Chad, of Thursford, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1791] on 24 November 1815.1
     On his death, his barony became extinct.1

     Lady Anne Turnour was born on 6 December 1785.1 She was the daughter of Edward Turnour, 2nd Earl Winterton and Jane Chapman.1 She married Sir Charles Chad, 2nd Bt., son of Sir George Chad, 1st Bt. and Sarah Rowles, on 14 June 1810.1 She died on 2 February 1832 at age 46.1
     From 14 June 1810, her married name became Chad.1

     Edward Turnour, 2nd Earl Winterton was born on 11 May 1758.2 He married, firstly, Jane Chapman, daughter of Richard Chapman, on 6 November 1781.2 He died on 23 April 1831 at age 72.2
     Edward Turnour, 2nd Earl Winterton was baptised with the name of Edward Garth-Turnour.2 He gained the title of 2nd Earl Winterton.
