     George Lindsay was the son of John Lindsay and Margaret Haliburton.¹ He married Margaret Bethune, daughter of Thomas Bethune of Tarvet and Ann Paterson, on 2 September 1721 at Cassingray, Fife, Scotland.² He died on 10 February 1764.¹
     He was a practising Advocate.¹ He had four other sons.¹ He lived at Wormiston, Fife, Scotland.¹

     Margaret Bethune was born on 7 June 1704.² She was the daughter of Thomas Bethune of Tarvet and Ann Paterson.^1,2 She was baptised on 21 June 1704 at Cupar, Fife, Scotland.² She married George Lindsay, son of John Lindsay and Margaret Haliburton, on 2 September 1721 at Cassingray, Fife, Scotland.² She died on 23 December 1778 at age 74 at Wormiston, Fife, Scotland.²
      From 2 September 1721, her married name became Lindsay.²

     Thomas Bethune of Tarvet was born circa 1655.¹ He was the son of James Bethune, 2nd of Tarvet and Elizabeth Blair.¹ He married, firstly, Eupham Rattray.¹ He married, secondly, Ann Paterson on 30 April 1703.¹
     He lived at Kilconquhar, Fife, Scotland.²

     John Lindsay was born in 1731. He was the son of George Lindsay and Margaret Bethune. He died on 25 May 1789, unmarried.
     He lived at Wormiston, Fife, Scotland.

     Henry Bethune was born circa 1736.¹ He was the son of George Lindsay and Margaret Bethune.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Eccles, daughter of Martin Eccles.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Kyd, daughter of Thomas Kyd.¹ He died on 11 March 1819.
     He was given the name of Henry Lindsay at birth.¹ On 2 October 1779 his name was legally changed to Henry Bethune by Royal Licence, on inheriting Kilconquhar.¹

     Elizabeth Kyd was the daughter of Thomas Kyd.¹ She married Henry Bethune, son of George Lindsay and Margaret Bethune.¹
      Her married name became Bethune.¹

     Rachel Lindsay was the daughter of Henry Bethune and Elizabeth Kyd.¹ She married Lt.-Gen. James Dickson.¹
      Her married name became Dickson.¹

     Stacy Ann Ferguson was born on 27 March 1975 at Hacienda Heights, California, U.S.A..^1,2 She is the daughter of Jon Patrick Ferguson and Theresa Ann Gore.¹ She married Josh Duhamel, son of Larry David Duhamel and Bonnie L. Kemper, on 10 January 2009.²
