     Anne Estella Sarah Penfold Mathews, Countess Cave of Richmond wrote the book Ant Antics.² She wrote the book Odds and Ends.² She was decorated with the award of Medal of Queen Elisabeth of Belgium.³ She wrote the book Memoirs of Old Richmond.² From 6 January 1885, her married name became Cave.¹ As a result of her marriage, Anne Estella Sarah Penfold Mathews, Countess Cave of Richmond was styled as Viscountess Cave on 14 November 1918. She was created 1st Countess Cave of Richmond [U.K.] on 8 May 1928, in lieu of the Earldom announced for her husband, which he did not live to receive.²
