     Thomas Reginald Cave-Browne-Cave was born on 11 January 1885.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Cave-Browne-Cave and Blanche Matilda Mary Ann Milton.2 He married, firstly, Marjorie Gwynne Wright, daughter of Albert Wright, on 8 June 1918.1 He married, secondly, Elsie May Ricks, daughter of James Ricks, on 19 November 1969.1 He died on 26 November 1969 at age 84.1
     Thomas Reginald Cave-Browne-Cave was educated at Dulwich School, Dulwich, London, England.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 He was Deputy Director of the Airship Research Air Ministry between 1920 and 1921.1 He was Professor of Engineering between 1931 and 1950 at University College, Southampton, Hampshire, England.3 He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the service of the Royal Air Force.3 He was Director of Camouflage, Minister of Home Security between 1941 and 1945.3 He was registered as a Member, Institute of Mechanical Engineers (M.I.Mech.E.).3 He was registered as a Member, Institute of Naval Architects (M.I.N.A.).3 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Aeronautical Society (F.R.Ae.S.).3 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.).3

     Marjorie Gwynne Wright was the daughter of Albert Wright.2 She married Thomas Reginald Cave-Browne-Cave, son of Sir Thomas Cave-Browne-Cave and Blanche Matilda Mary Ann Milton, on 8 June 1918.1 She died on 8 November 1969.1
     From 8 June 1918, her married name became Cave-Browne-Cave.1
