Hon. Edith Louisa Handcock was born on 1 September 1863.2 She was the daughter of Richard Handcock, 4th Baron Castlemaine of Moydrum and Hon. Louisa Matilda Harris.3 She married Hercules Arthur Temple Robinson, 2nd Baron Rosmead, son of Hercules George Robert Robinson, 1st Baron Rosmead and Nea Arthur Ada Rose d'Amour Annesley, on 10 October 1891.1 She died in January 1936 at age 72.1
From 10 October 1891, her married name became Robinson.1 As a result of her marriage, Hon. Edith Louisa Handcock was styled as Baroness Rosmead on 28 October 1897.

Hercules Arthur Temple Robinson, 2nd Baron Rosmead was the son of Hercules George Robert Robinson, 1st Baron Rosmead and Nea Arthur Ada Rose d'Amour Annesley.2 He married Hon. Edith Louisa Handcock, daughter of Richard Handcock, 4th Baron Castlemaine of Moydrum and Hon. Louisa Matilda Harris, on 10 October 1891.1 He died on 26 May 1933.1
He fought in the First Boer War in 1888.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Irish Fusiliers.2 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Rosmead, of Rosmead in co. of Westmeath and of Tafeberg in South Africa [U.K., 1896] on 28 October 1897.2 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Robinson [U.K., 1891] on 28 October 1897.2 He gained the rank of Major and Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 5th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.2 He fought in the Boer War in 1900, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 On his death, his titles became extinct.2
