Henrietta Handcock was the daughter of Hon. George Handcock and Elizabeth Alicia French.2 She married Rt. Hon. Alfred Henry Thesiger, son of Sir Frederick Thesiger, 1st Baron Chelmsford of Chelmsford and Anna Maria Tinling, on 31 December 1862.1 She died on 18 February 1921.1
