Sir Gilbert Clarke1

     Sir Gilbert Clarke was born circa 1645.2 He was the son of Godfrey Clarke and Elizabeth Milward.2 He married, firstly, Jane Byerley, daughter of Robert Byerley, on 20 April 1661.2 He married, secondly, Barbara Clerke, daughter of George Clerke, on 6 July 1671.2 He married, thirdly, Frances Legh, daughter of Richard Legh and Elizabeth Chicheley, in 1691.2 He died on 30 May 1701.2
     He lived at Somersall, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was appointed Knight on 2 March 1671.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Derbyshire between 1685 and 1687.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Derbyshire between 1689 and 1698.2

     Sir Daniel O'Carroll, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1717.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Daniel O'Carroll, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Jervoise.1 He died on 30 January 1758 at Four Courts Marshalsea, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, without male issue.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet O'Carroll [I., c. 1712] on 4 November 1750.1 He gained the rank of Captain in May 1752 in the Ligonier's Horse.1

     Jane O'Carroll was baptised on 19 January 1712/13 at St. Paul's Church, Covent Gardens, London, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Daniel O'Carroll, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Jervoise.1

     Sir John O'Carroll, 3rd Bt. was born on 14 February 1721/22.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Daniel O'Carroll, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Jervoise.1 He was baptised on 25 February 1721/22 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, Covent Garden, London, EnglandG.1 He died after June 1777.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet O'Carroll [I., c. 1712] on 30 January 1758.2

     Sir John Whitley O'Carroll, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir John O'Carroll, 3rd Bt.1 He married Elizabeth O'Carroll, daughter of Sir Daniel O'Carroll, 2nd Bt., on 10 June 1777.1 He died on 13 January 1818 at Frankfurt-am-Main, Hessen, GermanyG.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered in January 1818.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet O'Carroll [I., c. 1712] after 1777.1 He was British Resident at Saxe Weimar in 1804.1
