     Hon. Charles Herbert was born on 5 July 1774.1 He was the son of Henry Herbert, 1st Earl of Carnarvon and Lady Elizabeth Alicia Maria Wyndham.2 He married Hon. Bridget Augusta Byng, daughter of John Byng, 5th Viscount Torrington and Bridget Forrest, on 9 July 1806.1 He died on 12 September 1808 at age 34, drowned.2
     He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Royal Navy.1

John Byng, 5th Viscount Torrington1

     John Byng, 5th Viscount Torrington was born on 18 February 1742/43.2 He was the son of George Byng, 3rd Viscount Torrington and Elizabeth Daniel.2 He married Bridget Forrest, daughter of Commodore Arthur Forrest, on 3 March 1767.2 He died on 8 January 1813 at age 69.
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1776 in the service of the Grenadier Guards.2 He gained the title of 5th Viscount Torrington in 1812. He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3
      He wrote the book The Torrington Diaries, published 1934, edited by C. Bruyn Andrews.2

     Augusta Elizabeth Herbert was the daughter of Hon. Charles Herbert and Hon. Bridget Augusta Byng.2 She married Sir Francis Vincent, 10th Bt., son of Sir Francis Vincent, 9th Bt. and Jane Bouverie, on 10 May 1824.1 She died on 3 April 1876.1
      From 10 May 1824, her married name became Vincent.

     Sir Francis Vincent, 10th Bt. was born on 3 March 1803.2 He was the son of Sir Francis Vincent, 9th Bt. and Jane Bouverie.2 He married Augusta Elizabeth Herbert, daughter of Hon. Charles Herbert and Hon. Bridget Augusta Byng, on 10 May 1824.1 He died on 6 July 1880 at age 77.2
     He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Vincent, of D'Abernon, co. Surrey [E., 1620] in 1816.2
