     Alexander Hamilton was the son of Hugh Hamilton and Mary Ross.2,3 He married Isabella Maxwell, daughter of Robert Maxwell.2 He died in 1768.4
     He lived at Hampton, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He lived at Knock, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Killyleagh between 1730 and 1761.2 He lived at Newtown Hamilton, County Armagh, Ireland.2

     Sir John Caldwell, 6th Bt. was baptised on 25 February 1775 at Quebec, CanadaG.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Henry Caldwell and Anne Hamilton.1 He married Jane Davidson, daughter of James Davidson, on 21 August 1800 at Quebec, CanadaG.1 He died on 26 October 1842 at age 67 at Fremont House, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.G.1 He was buried at Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.G.1 His will was proven (by probate) in February 1844.1
     He held the office of Treasurer General of Canada in April 1810.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Caldwell, of Wellsburrow, co. Fermanagh [I., 1683] on 17 June 1830.1

     Jane Davidson was born circa 1782.1 She was the daughter of James Davidson.1 She married Sir John Caldwell, 6th Bt., son of Lt.-Col. Henry Caldwell and Anne Hamilton, on 21 August 1800 at Quebec, CanadaG.1 She died in 1805 at Quebec, CanadaG.1 She was buried at Quebec, CanadaG.1
     From 21 August 1800, her married name became Caldwell.1

     Sir Henry John Caldwell, 7th Bt. was born on 22 October 1801.1 He was the son of Sir John Caldwell, 6th Bt. and Jane Davidson.1 He was baptised on 28 November 1801 at Protestant Church, Quebec, Quebec, CanadaG.1 He married Sophia Louisa Paynter, daughter of David Runwa Paynter and Sophia Catherine Price, on 18 December 1839 at Walcot, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He died on 13 October 1858 at age 56 at Marlborough Buildings, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG, without issue.1 He was buried at Lansdown Cemetery, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 18 January 1845) was proven (by probate) on 15 November 1858.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [Canada] in 1831.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Caldwell, of Wellsburrow, co. Fermanagh [I., 1683] on 26 October 1842.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     From 18 December 1839, her married name became Caldwell.1
