     Captain Derek Russell de Courcy Trasenster was born in 1924.2 He was the son of Major William Augustus Trasenster and Brenda de Courcy Barrett.3 He married Susan Felicity Standish, daughter of Edward William Standish and Sheila Margaret Byron, on 17 December 1949 at St. Paul's, Knightsbridge, London, England.1,2 He died on 31 October 2014.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards.1
