     Daniel Sidney Harmer was born on 15 October 1936.1 He is the son of Captain Russell Thomas Harmer and Daphne Buxton.2 He married Jacqueline Erwin Moore, daughter of R. J. Moore, on 17 August 1962.1 He and Jacqueline Erwin Moore were divorced in 1980.1
