Hon. Victoria Frances Maud Baillie was born on 14 March 1899.1 She was the daughter of Colonel James Evan Bruce Baillie of Dochfour and Nellie Lisa Bass, Baroness Burton of Burton-on-Trent and of Rangemore.1 She married Sir Digby Lawson, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Arthur Tredgold Lawson, 1st Bt. and Louise Frederica Edith Auguste O'Brien, on 2 November 1922.1 She died on 10 January 1931 at age 31.1
She was Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.).2 From 2 November 1922, her married name became Lawson.

Alexander Baillie of Dunain is the son of Sir William Baillie of Lamington and Marian Seton.1 He married Catherine Grant, daughter of Sir William Grant of Treucky.1
With his two younger brothers, he killed their clergyman tutor and fled abroad.1 He fought in the Battle of Brechin in 1452, under his maternal cousin 1st Earl of Huntly.1 In 1453 Constable of Inverness Castle.1 He was rewarded by the grant of Dunain, Dochfour, Leys and Torbreck.1
