     Maj.-Gen. Henry Charles Russell married Mary Ann Thorp, daughter of Robert William Disney Thorp and Ann Catherine Grant, on 14 February 1820.¹ He died between 3 January 1857 and 19 March 1860.¹
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Royal Artillery.¹

     Thomas Francis Jeken Russell was born on 1 May 1828.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Charles Russell and Mary Ann Thorp.¹ He married Emma Louisa Byde, daughter of Reverend R. J. P. Byde, on 28 February 1861.¹ He died circa December 1865.¹ He was buried on 22 December 1865.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 43rd Madras Native Infantry.¹

     Emma Louisa Byde is the daughter of Reverend R. J. P. Byde.¹ She married Thomas Francis Jeken Russell, son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Charles Russell and Mary Ann Thorp, on 28 February 1861.¹
      From 28 February 1861, her married name became Russell.

     John Francis Byde Russell was born on 17 December 1863.¹ He was the son of Thomas Francis Jeken Russell and Emma Louisa Byde.¹ He died after 1915.¹

     John Thomas Evans Boyd was born circa 1855.¹ He was the son of Thomas Boyd and Frances Thorpe.² He married, firstly, Mary Crawford, daughter of George Crawford.³ He married, secondly, Emily Martha (?).¹ He died on 26 December 1900, from a stroke while out hunting.¹
      John Thomas Evans Boyd usually went by his middle name of Evans.¹ He was a yachtsman.³ He was a practising Solicitor.³ He lived at Ruane, New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland.³

     Dorothea Elizabeth Boyd is the daughter of Thomas Boyd and Frances Thorpe.² She married George Crawford, son of George Crawford.¹
      Her married name became Crawford.

     Alexander Leith of Freefield and Glenkindie was born on 19 December 1817.¹ He was the son of General Sir Alexander Leith of Freefield and Glenkindie and Maria Thorp.¹ He married Mary Anna Halkett, daughter of General Sir Alexander Halkett, on 17 August 1843.¹ He died on 14 July 1886 at age 68.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He was a practising Advocate.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.¹

     General Sir Alexander Halkett was born in 1773.² He was the son of Sir John Wedderburn Halkett, 4th Bt. and Mary Hamilton.^1,2
     He was invested as a Knight, Hanoverian Order (K.H.).¹

     Mary Anna Halkett was the daughter of General Sir Alexander Halkett.¹ She married Alexander Leith of Freefield and Glenkindie, son of General Sir Alexander Leith of Freefield and Glenkindie and Maria Thorp, on 17 August 1843.¹ She died on 17 November 1900.¹
      From 17 August 1843, her married name became Leith.¹
