     From before 1616, her married name became Brodie.1

     James Crichton of Cluny was born in 1560.2 He was the son of Sir Robert Crichton of Eliock and Elizabeth Stewart.1,2 He died on 3 July 1582 at Italy, murdered by Vincenzo Gonzaga.2
     James Crichton of Cluny also went by the nick-name of James 'the Admirable'.1 He was educated between 1570 and 1574 at University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2
