     Sir William Frankland, 1st Bt. was born in 1640.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Frankland and Anne Harris.1 He married Arabella Belasyse, daughter of Hon. Henry Belasyse and Grace Barton, in 1662.1 He died on 2 August 1697.3
     He was created 1st Baronet Frankland, of Thirkleby [England] on 24 December 1660.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Thirsk between 1671 and 1681.1 He lived at Thirkleby, Blubberhouses, Yorkshire, England.1

     Arabella Belasyse was born in 1638 at Yorkshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Hon. Henry Belasyse and Grace Barton.1 She was baptised on 10 April 1638 at Coxwold, Lincolnshire, England.2 She married Sir William Frankland, 1st Bt., son of Sir Henry Frankland and Anne Harris, in 1662.3 She died on 26 February 1687.3
     From 1662, her married name became Frankland.1

     Hon. Henry Belasyse was born in 1604.2 He was the son of Thomas Belasyse, 1st Viscount Fauconberg of Henknowle and Barbara Cholmley.1,3 He married Grace Barton, daughter of Sir Thomas Barton.3 He died in 1647.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Thirsk from 1625 to 1626.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yorkshire from 1628 to 1629.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yorkshire between 1640 and 1642.3

     Sir William Fairfax was the son of Sir William Fairfax and Elizabeth Manners.2,1 He married Isabella Thwaites, daughter of Thomas Thwaites, in 1514.1 He died on 31 October 1557.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire in 1525.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire in 1540.1
