     Agnes Lucy Arden was born on 19 August 1838 at Longcroft Hall, Yoxall, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Arden and Isabella Mary Cooper.1 She married Charles John Clay, son of Henry Clay and Elizabeth Leigh, on 6 July 1869 at Tatenhill, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 She died on 17 February 1874 at age 35 at Stapenhill, Burton-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, England, in childbirth.1
     Agnes Lucy Arden also went by the nick-name of Aggie.1 From 6 July 1869, her married name became Clay.1
