Magdalen Duff was born on 2 July 1752.1,2 She was the daughter of William Duff, 1st of Muirtown and Mary Baillie.1 She married, firstly, Alexander Duff of Davidson, son of John Duff and Mary Gordon, in 1771.3 She married, secondly, Rt. Rev. Andrew Macfarlane after 1778.4 She died on 22 November 1828 at age 76.1,2
