     Arthur Heywood Brooksbank was born on 19 December 1857.1 He was the son of Arthur Brooksbank and Anna Maria Lonsdale.1 He married Dora Helen Baggallay, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Richard Baggallay and Marianne Lacy, on 10 December 1890.1
     Arthur Heywood Brooksbank gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 19th Hussars.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.1
