     Major John Alexander Lochore was the son of Sir James Lochore.1 He married Hazel Mary Brooke, daughter of Sir Robert Weston Brooke, 2nd Bt. and Margery Jean Geddes, on 21 February 1942.1 He died on 30 June 1944 at Normandy, France, killed in action.1
     Major John Alexander Lochore gained the rank of Major in the service of the Seaforth Highlanders.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
