George Kinloch Sheppard was the son of Sir William Didsbury Sheppard.1 He married, firstly, Pamela Mary Burton, daughter of Burnell Lewis Earnshaw Burton and Eileen Dolores Alexander, on 7 October 1947.2 He and Pamela Mary Burton were divorced in 1951.2 He married, secondly, Rachel Russell Windham, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Steuart Windham and Marjorie Russell Dymock, on 15 July 1963.1 He died on 23 December 1963.1
     Lt.-Col. George Kinloch Sheppard gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Rajputana Rifles, Indian Army.1
