     Antony Alfred Lyttelton, 2nd Viscount Chandos was born on 23 October 1920.¹ He was the son of Oliver Lyttelton, 1st Viscount Chandos and Lady Moira Godolphin Osborne.¹ He married Caroline Mary Lascelles, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Frederick Lascelles and Hon. Joan Frances Vere Thesiger, on 20 May 1949.¹ He died on 28 November 1980 at age 60.²

     Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Frederick Lascelles was born on 11 April 1887.² He was the son of Commander Hon. Frederick Canning Lascelles and Frederica Maria Liddell.^2,3 He married Hon. Joan Frances Vere Thesiger, daughter of Frederick John Napier Thesiger, 1st Viscount Chelmsford and Hon. Frances Charlotte Guest, on 16 March 1920.⁴ He died in 1981.²

     Hon. Joan Frances Vere Thesiger was born on 1 August 1895.¹ She was the daughter of Frederick John Napier Thesiger, 1st Viscount Chelmsford and Hon. Frances Charlotte Guest.² She married Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Frederick Lascelles, son of Commander Hon. Frederick Canning Lascelles and Frederica Maria Liddell, on 16 March 1920.¹ She died on 15 May 1971 at age 75.¹
     Her married name became Lascelles.

     Andrew Charles Gerald Thesiger, 2nd Viscount Chelmsford was born on 25 July 1903.² He was the son of Frederick John Napier Thesiger, 1st Viscount Chelmsford and Hon. Frances Charlotte Guest.¹ He married Gillian Lubbock, daughter of Arthur Nevile Lubbock and Alice Ellen Tiarks, on 14 July 1927.³ He died on 27 September 1970 at age 67.²
     Andrew Charles Gerald Thesiger, 2nd Viscount Chelmsford was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.² He was educated at Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Chelmsford, of Chelmsford, co. Essex [U.K., 1921] on 1 April 1933.⁴ He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Chelmsford of Chelmsford, co. Essex [U.K., 1858] on 1 April 1933.⁴ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.² He was with Willis Faber, insurance brokers.² He was a director of J. E. A. Marshall in 1970.²

     John Frederick Lascelles was born on 11 June 1922.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Frederick Lascelles and Hon. Joan Frances Vere Thesiger.¹ He died on 11 September 1951 at age 29, unmarried.¹
     John Frederick Lascelles gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Grenadier Guards.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹

     Lavinia Joan Lascelles was born on 27 June 1923.¹ She is the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Frederick Lascelles and Hon. Joan Frances Vere Thesiger.¹ She married, firstly, Major Edward Westland Renton, son of David Renton, on 30 March 1946.¹ She and Major Edward Westland Renton were divorced in 1960.¹ She married, secondly, Gavin Maxwell, son of Lt.-Col. Aymer Edward Maxwell and Lady Mary Percy, on 1 February 1962.¹ She and Gavin Maxwell were divorced in 1964.¹ She married, thirdly, David Hankinson in 1969.¹
     From 30 March 1946, her married name became Renton. From 1 February 1962, her married name became Maxwell. From 1969, her married name became Hankinson.¹

     Caroline Mary Lascelles was born on 15 February 1928.² She is the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Frederick Lascelles and Hon. Joan Frances Vere Thesiger.^2,3 She married, firstly, Antony Alfred Lyttelton, 2nd Viscount Chandos, son of Oliver Lyttelton, 1st Viscount Chandos and Lady Moira Godolphin Osborne, on 20 May 1949.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. David Hervey Erskine, son of Major John Francis Ashley Erskine, Lord Erskine and Lady Marjorie Hervey, in 1985.¹
     Caroline Mary Lascelles was educated at Royal College of Music, London, England.² She was registered as a Associate, Royal College of Music (A.R.C.M.).² Her married name became Lyttelton. As a result of her marriage, Caroline Mary Lascelles was styled as Viscountess Chandos on 21 January 1972. From 1985, her married name became Erskine.¹ She lived in 2003 at Felsham House, Felsham, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.¹

     Major Edward Westland Renton is the son of David Renton.¹ He married Lavinia Joan Lascelles, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Frederick Lascelles and Hon. Joan Frances Vere Thesiger, on 30 March 1946.¹ He and Lavinia Joan Lascelles were divorced in 1960.¹
     Major Edward Westland Renton gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Horse Regiment (Black Watch).¹

     Gavin Maxwell was born on 15 July 1914. He was the son of Lt.-Col. Aymer Edward Maxwell and Lady Mary Percy. He married Lavinia Joan Lascelles, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Frederick Lascelles and Hon. Joan Frances Vere Thesiger, on 1 February 1962.¹ He and Lavinia Joan Lascelles were divorced in 1964.¹ He died on 7 September 1969 at age 55.
