     Alexander Morison, 7th of Bognie was born on 20 January 1802.1 He was the son of John Morison, 6th of Bogie and Jane Fraser.1 He married Jessie Eliza Duff, daughter of Garden Duff, 8th of Hatton and Louisa Dunbar, in 1836.1 He died in 1874, without issue.1
     Alexander Morison, 7th of Bognie was a practising Advocate.1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire.1

     From 1836, her married name became Morison.2

     Garden Duff, 8th of Hatton was born on 29 October 1779.2 He was the son of John Duff and Helen Duff.2 He married Louisa Dunbar, daughter of Sir Benjamin Dunbar of Hempriggs, 3rd Bt. and Janet Mackay, on 17 September 1805.2 He died on 15 March 1858 at age 78.2
     Garden Duff, 8th of Hatton held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).3 He lived at Hatton, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.4
